Of course as an affiliate, it is your responsibility to increase traffic to your site. This way, the ads on your site reach a wider audience and you get to increase your conversion rate. You will also need to make sure that the affiliate program you are joining with is within your niche or else you are not targeting the right audience and you have no way to make them interested to what you’re promoting.

As an affiliate marketer, it is necessary to do your homework. Not all affiliate programs work the same way, and some have higher payouts than the others. Read the contract before you join an affiliate network to avoid frustration on your part.
